The Barefoot Autism Challenge goes through the month of April, autism awareness month. My name is Tyler Leech. I created the Barefoot Autism Challenge as a way to have people challenge their senses and understand the sensory aspect of autism. Most people think autism is about communication but it also involves sensory issues too. Some people with autism even prefer to be barefoot because it helps them be in tune with their surroundings and calms them down. To do the challenge, post a picture or video of you walking barefoot and share what advocating for someone with autism means to you. Challenge your friends to do the same using #barefootautismchallenge.
